Welcome aboard! Experience the thrill of America's Cup sailing aboard Stars & Stripes USA-11 - the same yacht raced by Dennis Conner during the 1992 campaign. Our exhilarating, interactive, 3-hour cruises are considered the ultimate in sailing adventures, team building, and corporate rewards. Grind the winches to help raise and trim the sails, take your turn at the helm, or just hang on as we zip around San Diego Bay aboard one of the fastest and most famous sailboats in the world. We welcome individuals, groups and private charters up to 24 guests. We can often take reservations on short notice so give us a call, you'll be glad you did. Stars & Stripes USA-11 is located at the beautiful Kona Kai Resort Marina.


Stars & Stripes USA-11 History


Stars & Stripes USA-11 was raced by Dennis Conner in his 1992 America's Cup campaign and then used as a trial horse for his 1995 campaign. She raced in the US Virgin Islands and San Francisco before returning home to San Diego in 2006. We provide complimentary water, soft drinks, and light snacks (peanuts and/or pretzels). You're welcome to bring your own camera, but we take photos and videos for viewing after the sail in our office, while enjoying complimentary refreshments in our gift shop. The pictures will be posted on our Web Albums for free viewing and downloads. Tickets can be purchased online, or give us a call if you do not have access to a computer.

And while doing so, be sure to look out at the Kona Kai Marina and find a tall black mast close to the restaurant. That 11 story carbon fiber mast belongs to  Stars & Stripes USA 11 .  The famous  Stars & Stripes  was designed and built to be raced in 1992, San Diego.
